In this new series of nordeen real bride stories, roya shares how she knew her nordeen look was the one and her experience working with brenna, the designer behind the brand.

What Drew you towards nordeen? And Ultimately, why did you choose nordeen for your wedding day?

“I found myself instantly drawn to Nordeen as soon as I saw some of the first designs! As nordeen evolved and put out more pieces, I couldn’t stop eyeballing the unique two piece sets that were on the website. Those pieces always stayed in the back of my mind and when I started my dress shopping journey, I couldn’t find anything else like it. The majority of pieces I found from other designers in the same price range either didn’t offer the same fit or had fabric that didn’t appear to be as high quality. Anything I found that appeared to have the same silk quality of nordeen were nearly 3x the price and far out of my budget. Ultimately, the quality of the fabric, the timeless design, and price point for a made to measure product were what made nordeen a cut above the rest for me.”

How did you know the Navlyn Top and Maeve Skirt set was the one? how did the look make you feel?

“I always knew I wanted to put together a separate top and bottom! I initially thought the Navlyn top and the Tamsin pants would be what I would go for. but when Brenna thought to style me in the Navlyn top and Maeve skirt, I instantly knew that was it. It’s difficult to explain, but sometimes you just see something and know in your gut - you don’t need to try anything else. To this day, I couldn’t be happier with my decision!”

What was your favorite moment during your wedding day wearing your nordeen look? Can you describe it?

“My favorite moment was most definitely working with my photographer to take all my wedding photos at Stockholm’s city hall. The photographer i worked with was incredibly talented and creative, and best of all, she couldn’t stop gushing over my look! She did such a great job making the pieces look absolutely brilliant in all the photos and managed to come up with some gorgeous shots using the length and flow of the dress. I feel so grateful towards nordeen and my photographer for making my photos some of the most unique and beautiful wedding photos I’ve ever seen!”
